6th International Conference on Sustainable Energy (ICSE 2020)
“Energy for Human Comfort and Green Future”
October 8th - 9th, 2020
Energy and environment are always the topics of great concern to human beings. Every country is facing the fact that the demand of economic growth puts a high pressure on the limited natural resources and environment. Protecting the global climate, conserving valuable resources and ensuring sustainable global development - these are the main challenges for us in the 21st century. The transformation of the energy system is a vital precondition for achieving these goals. Developing and using renewable energy technologies often are priories by government incentives to phase out CO2 emissions and to make ecological conservation in the future.
With this in mind, the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Energy (ICSE) will be held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) from 8th October through 9th October in 2020. This is the bi-annual conference originally founded by Prof. Le Chi Hiep at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) since 2009. The conference is a platform for technological exchanges amongst researchers from diverse disciplines of science, engineering and management from the ASIA and ASEAN group countries. With the theme “Energy for Human Comfort and Green Future” of ICSE in 2020, we aim to address global climate change and discuss necessary actions in various areas of energy such as smart grid technology, fuel and storage technology, renewable energy, energy conservation in buildings and in industry, energy and environment.
The ICSE in 2020 is also a special event as a contribution to our anniversary of the 60th foundation of thermal engineering field in Vietnam and the 20th establishment of School of Heat Engineering and Refrigeration (SHEER) at HUST.
